About Us & Our Breeding Program

My Name is Sharon my husband Jerry and I are small in home breeders. We are blessed with 4 loving children and a great daughter-in-law. Our Dogs roam in our home during the day and take over our bed at night. We are located in Shenandoah Valley, Virginia on 80 beautiful acres.

When our children were young we first started breeding Labrador Retrievers. After the kids were grown I came across a picture of the Biewer. It was Love at first sight. This smaller exquisite breed was a big change from previously breeding Labs. I run a strict breeding program to produce some of the best quality puppies. I am very passionate about the Biewers and Golddust which makes it easy to put my heart and soul into my breeding program. Most of my dogs have been shown and evaluated by judges in the show ring to ensure my foundation dogs are up to the high standards that I have set for my breeding program. With the judges awarding them Multi Best In Show's along with them gaining their Multi-Championship & Multi-International Championship titles I feel we are on the right path to producing some of the best Exquisite Biewers and Golddust puppies available in the United States.

What you need to know when considering adopting a puppy from Exquisite Biewers & Golddust.......

Exquisite Biewer & Golddust is working in conjunction with MetaMorphix Inc. Laboratory. All of our Biewers have been DNA tested. All Golddust in our breeding program have DNA profiles of dam and sire and parentage verification report from MetaMorphix Inc. laboratory. This parentage verification report compares the DNA profiles of dam, sire, and pup (s) and determines with greater than 99% confidence the pups are from the tested dam and sire. Breeding pairs are carefully screened by our veterinarian (Liver shunt, knees etc.) and only after passing with excellent health are they allowed to breed.

Our pups are current on shots, wormed , fecal and Vet checked before they leave our home. Our puppies are guaranteed to be in excellent health when they leave our home. The puppy is guaranteed until 1 year of age against fatal congenital diseases. Buyer understands that the following slight genetic defects are not covered: hernia, un-descended testicles, over or under bite. Luxating patellae or tracheal collapse are not guaranteed due to environmental issues.

Puppies are well socialized throughout my home not raised in cages. They leave pee pee pad trained . I feed high quality Canine Caviar, a holistic food to ensure the best possible start in life.

Several people ask should I get male or female? Female's are harder to come by because there are not as many born and a lot of the time breeders are keeping the females for their breeding program. I have found both male and female are very friendly and loving with the Biewer and Golddust breed. The males do NOT mark if they are neutered when they are young and have not learned the practice of lifting the leg yet.

After very careful screening I will put interested buyers on a waiting list. A Non-Refundable deposit will hold your puppy until it reaches its proper age to leave (12 weeks approximately) . If you need additional time to prepare for your puppy we gladly hold pups longer if Buyer requests and as long as we are available to do so. Additional boarding fee per day will apply. Deposits are taken on a first come first serve basis for picking out a puppy. If you put a deposit on a Full registration (show/breeding) potential puppy and the bite or knees go off or testicle has not dropped, before leaving my home your deposit will go towards another puppy of equal value once available (no refund of money). Deposits taken on Pet Registration pups will NOT transfer to another litter. Buyer understands that the technology does not exist to predetermine the genetic outcome of any breeding as respect to health, conformation, temperament, or performance ability. All pups sold full registration (show/breeding) potential are not guaranteed to be show or breeding quality at an adult age unless they are sold as Adults. Show/breeding potential are just that Potential! The price for Biewer and Golddust in the United States is higher than what you would pay for a Yorkshire Terrier. I do not determine final prices until the pups are evaluated for structure, health and temperament. Pricing varies depending on evaluation of pup along with the type of registration (Pet/Limited or Full). Pet limited must be spayed or neutered, Full registration allows showing or breeding. In the United States a average good pet quality Biewer price ranges around $2,500.00 and upwards golddust slightly higher. There are some adorable larger "pet" Biewers who's prices may be set considerably lower in hopes of finding the perfect forever home. All pups sold - transferred in state of Virginia a 5% state sales tax applies to purchase price of pup.

I consider a good breeder to breed for good structure, health and temperament for the betterment of the breed, but it is just as important to help educate and mentor others about this wonderful Biewer, Golddust Breed.
